Claude Imbert
Born in Cognac, I moved to the Southwest of France forty years ago, to the Bordeaux region. This is where my artistic journey took root, nourished by the light, colors, and landscapes of this beautiful region. Primarily self-taught, I also took classes with Jean-Michel Charpentier, who enriched my practice and refined my vision.
For the past eight years, I have lived on the shores of the Arcachon Bay, a place that, with its tides, changing skies, and infinite palette of shades, deeply fuels my inspiration. My paintings, sometimes figurative, sometimes abstract, reflect a sensitivity shaped by these horizons, but also by an intact curiosity that leads me to explore other themes and universes.
